Immunity-Boosting Tea Recipe

Immunity boost tea
This is a great immunity boosting tea. I try to drink it at least once a week… particularly during flu season or when I’m feeling worn out…

And it really works!

So the last few weeks, I've been drinking this most mornings. Try it... you'll be helping strengthen your body, and it tastes great.

Immunity Tea Ingredients

  • 2cm (1 inch) Ginger
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

How to make ginger tea

Take a piece of ginger, about 2cm (about 1 inch), and slice off the skin.

Grate the ginger into a pot.

Add around 4 cups of boiling water and brew for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, squeeze in your lemon and add the honey.

And enjoy!

P.S. You can also add a green tea bag with the lemon and honey if you really want to supercharge it.

Health benefits of ginger

Ginger has been shown to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, anti-tumourigenic, anti-hyperglycaemic and analgesic properties.

It is a powerful superfood used in traditional Chinese medicine, and is known to help in the fight against fever and infectious diseases, dementia, hypertension, indigestion, constipation, and arthritis pain. [1, 2, 3]
